Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated person to join our transportation team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting goods across various over the road locations, ensuring a high standard of customer service and adherence to all traffic and safety regulations. Duties Operate a sprinter/cargo van Safely transport goods along designated over the road outes, ensuring timely arrivals and departures. Communicate effectively with clients providing excellent customer service throughout each trip. Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure optimal performance and safety. Assist with heavy lifting or manual handling tasks when loading or unloading cargo. Use GPS navigation systems to follow planned routes accurately and efficiently. Maintain detailed logs of trips, mileage, fuel consumption, and vehicle condition reports. Requirements Proven experience as a delivery driver, bus driver, chauffeur, or shuttle driver with a strong understanding of passenger vehicle operation. Valid driver's license appropriate for the vehicle type (e.g., chauffeur's license or commercial driver's license). Experience with GPS navigation tools and local driving routes. Knowledge of inter state transportation regulations and safety protocols for passenger vehicles. Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks safely. Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients and team members. Strong focus on adhering to traffic regulations and maintaining vehicle maintenance standards. Customer service-oriented mindset with a positive attitude on the road. Pay:
$51.25 - $61.72 per hour
