CDL-A FLATBED DRIVER
|HOME DAILY
|NIGHT SHIFT
| EARN $1,500-$1,800+/WEEKDURING HARVEST
Michigan Thumb Region Beet Harvest Operations. Immediate Openings Available. Dave Hausbeck Trucking (DHT) is hiring CDL-A Drivers for our upcoming Michigan Thumb Sugar Beet Harvest Flatbed operation beginning in late August. This seasonal position offers the opportunity to work in a specialized agricultural hauling operation transporting beet tare totes from area sugar beet factories and piling grounds using flatbed trailers throughout Michigan's Thumb region. Qualified drivers may also have the opportunity to begin working immediately in DHT's Dry Van Division prior to harvest season and transition into the Flatbed Division when harvest operations begin. Drivers who successfully complete the harvest season may have the opportunity to remain in the Flatbed Division, return to Dry Van operations, or transition into another DHT division based on business needs and driver preference.EARNINGS & BENEFITS

DOINGAs a Seasonal Flatbed Driver, you'll play an important role in supporting Michigan's sugar beet harvest by transporting beet tare totes between sugar beet factories and piling grounds using flatbed trailers.This position helps keep one of Michigan's largest agricultural industries moving during the busiest time of the year.
Responsibilities Include:
Safely transporting beet tare totes using flatbed trailers Properly securing loads using straps and load securement equipment Performing pre-trip, post-trip, and load securement inspections Maintaining DOT compliance and following all safety regulations Working closely with dispatch, customers, and plant personnel Providing professional and courteous service throughout the harvest season Operating safely and efficiently in a fast-paced seasonal environmentWHAT TO EXPECT
Night shift position Home daily after every shift Seasonal harvest position beginning in late August Peak harvest operations may require up to 7 days per week during the first 2-3 weeks Significant overtime opportunities during peak harvest season Workload typically decreases as harvest progresses Opportunity for immediate employment before harvest season begins Opportunity to transfer into another DHT division upon completion of harvest seasonREAL FLATBED
WORKCandidates must be comfortable with: Safely and correctly securing loads Working independently Operating in changing weather conditions Working in a fast-paced harvest environment Following safety procedures at all timesThis is hands-on trucking for drivers who take pride in doing the job right.QUALIFICATIONS
Valid Class A CDL Minimum 3-6 months CDL-A driving experience preferred One year of experience preferred Flatbed experience preferred but not required Acceptable driving record Ability to secure loads using straps and load securement equipment Must pass DOT drug screen and physicalABOUT DHT
