In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating a 26 foot box truck with liftgate. Your primary focus will be on delivering pallets locally while maintaining the highest safety standards. 8am - 4pm shift Monday - Friday 100 mile driving radius Responsibilities Safely operate commercial trucks with automatic transmission across designated routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. Load and unload freight using proper techniques and equipment such as forklifts when necessary. Manage route driving responsibilities with precision, ensuring timely pickups and deliveries while maintaining communication with dispatch. Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to identify maintenance needs or safety concerns. Ensure proper documentation of shipments, delivery receipts, and logs for compliance purposes. Assist with loading and securing freight on different truck configurations to prevent damage during transit. Requirements Valid Chauffer's license Clean driving record with no violations Proven 18 months long track record in commercial driving, including delivery driver experience Ability to operate specialized equipment such as forklifts is a plus.
