Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Tow Truck Driver to join our team. As a Tow Truck Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently towing and transporting vehicles to designated locations. This is a crucial role in our organization as you will be providing assistance to stranded motorists.
Duties:
  • Operate a tow truck to transport vehicles from breakdown sites, accident scenes.
  • Perform automotive diagnostics to determine the cause of vehicle breakdowns
  • Safely load and unload vehicles onto the tow truck using appropriate equipment.
  • Secure vehicles properly to prevent damage during transportation
  • Follow all traffic laws and regulations while operating the tow truck
  • Provide excellent customer service by assisting stranded motorists and maintaining a professional demeanor
  • Complete necessary paperwork
  • Perform basic automotive repairs or assist with mechanical issues when necessary
Requirements:
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Commercial driving experience preferred
  • Knowledge of manual transmission operation
  • Familiarity with automotive diagnostics and repair procedures
  • Ability to operate a flatbed safely
  • Strong mechanical knowledge and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and make quick decisions in high-pressure situations
