Job Description
We are a tree farm located in Snover Mi, in need of a truck driver to deliver our products to our customers on our trucks. A CDL is needed. Experience driving a semi is nessessary. We run Semi's and 24' box trucks. Starting time and hours will vary depending on the customers preference and location of the delivery. Instructions are generally available the prior day, but occassionally a load may be scheduled the same day. No over nights. No Sundays. Shut down from Christmas until February - unemployment is available Closed Holidays Responsibilities Operate and drive trucks, including tractor-trailers, to transport goods safely and efficiently. Load and unload freight, ensuring proper handling and securing of cargo. Maintain accurate delivery logs and comply with all transportation regulations. Perform routine inspections and maintenance on the vehicle to ensure safe operation. Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise. Collect payment and handle paperwork for the customer.
