Job Description

Job Summary Join our team as a Snow Plow Driver and Sidewalk Shoveler, where you'll play a vital role in maintaining safe and accessible outdoor spaces during winter weather. This energetic position involves operating snow removal equipment, including plows and blowers, to clear roads, driveways, and parking lots. Additionally, you'll be responsible for shoveling sidewalks and walkways by hand to ensure safe passage for pedestrians. Responsibilities Operate snow plow trucks and other groundskeeping equipment safely and efficiently to clear snow from streets, parking lots, and driveways. Shovel sidewalks, stairs, and walkways manually using hand tools to ensure pedestrian safety. Assess weather conditions regularly to determine the most effective snow removal strategies. Follow all safety protocols and maintain equipment in good working order through routine inspections. Collaborate with team members to prioritize routes and complete snow removal tasks promptly. Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards immediately to supervisors. Maintain detailed logs of work completed, including areas cleared and time spent on each task. Experience Prior snow plowing experience is required. Mechanical knowledge of snow removal equipment and power tools is advantageous. Knowledge of safety protocols related to outdoor work and equipment operation is essential. Strong physical stamina and the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions are required. Drug and nicotine free work environment DOT medical card and chauffeur license are required This position offers an exciting chance to stay active while ensuring community safety during challenging winter conditions!
