Job Overview We are seeking a reliable and skilled Tow Truck Driver to join our team. This role involves safely transporting vehicles, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring timely recovery operations. Experience with automotive diagnostics, mechanical repairs a plus. You will be working in Traverse City so transportation or living close by is a plus. Responsibilities Operate tow trucks, including flatbed and other specialized vehicles, in a safe and efficient manner Respond promptly to roadside assistance calls and vehicle recovery requests Load and unload vehicles carefully using appropriate equipment Conduct basic automotive diagnostics and mechanical assessments to determine the best recovery approach Perform minor repairs or assist mechanics with automotive repair tasks when needed Maintain detailed records Via your Cell phone of all towing activities, including vehicle condition and recovery details (We provide the app) Manage conflict situations professionally, ensuring customer satisfaction while adhering to safety protocols Ensure all equipment is properly maintained, inspected, and operated according to safety standards Assist with other related duties such as vehicle storage or transport logistics as required Experience Prior experience operating tow trucks, Is not needed. We like to train. Mechanical knowledge and mechanic experience are highly advantageous Valid driver's license suitable for Class C vehicles Skills in conflict management and customer service to handle diverse client interactions effectively Ability to load & unload vehicles safely using appropriate tools and equipment such as forklifts if applicable MUST BE 21, and have a clean driving record to be on Insurance Culture We are only seeking dedicated people looking for a long term fit Family Owned and Operated since 1998 We are a Christian based company This position requires a dedicated professional committed to safety, efficiency, and delivering exceptional service in a fast-paced environment.
