As part of a parent company that also specializes in custom metal fabrication and architectural systems, we are dedicated to transforming visions into reality through innovative craftsmanship and reliable service. Overview Glass and Metal Craft is seeking a reliable and safety-focused Class B or Class A CDL Driver to transport fabricated glass and metal products to customer sites and internal facilities. This role is critical to ensuring safe, timely deliveries while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism, equipment care, and customer service. Responsibilities Safely operate Class B or Class A commercial vehicles to transport glass and metal products Load, secure, transport, and unload materials using proper rigging and safety methods Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment Ensure loads are properly secured to prevent damage or shifting Maintain delivery logs, inspection reports, and required documentation Follow DOT regulations, company safety policies, and site-specific rules Communicate professionally with customers, dispatch, and shop personnel Assist with material handling and staging when not driving (as needed) Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of assigned vehicles Qualifications Valid Class B CDL required (Class A preferred) Clean driving record and ability to pass MVR review Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening Experience hauling fragile materials (glass preferred) Ability to safely lift 70+ lbs and work in shop and outdoor environments Strong attention to safety and detail Dependable, punctual, and professional demeanor Preferred Experience Experience in glass fabrication, construction, or materials delivery Familiarity with A-frame racks and glass transport equipment Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain) Moffit Experience (or willingness to learn) Work Environment Combination of driving, warehouse, and fabrication shop environments Exposure to weather conditions during loading/unloading PPE required (steel-toe boots, eye protection, gloves, hearing protection and Kevlar) Equal Opportunity Employer Glass and Metal Craft is an Equal Opportunity Employer and does not discriminate based on race, color, religion, sex, age, disability, veteran status, or any other protected status.
