Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to manage routes effectively. Driver will be operating a day cab truck, 36' flatbed trailer and moffett forklift to deliver building materials within a 100 mile radius of Baxter, MN. Start time is 6am and can go up to 4pm (10 hours). Work days are Monday through Saturday (6 days). Pay is $1,200/week, paid every Friday by direct deposit. Pay remains the same even through winter where the work weeks are much shorter hours. Responsibilities Operate a truck, trailer and forklift Ensure timely delivery of goods to designated locations while following assigned routes. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, vehicle maintenance, and delivery schedules. Load and unload cargo as necessary, utilizing forklifts when required. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding route changes or delays. Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations regarding commercial driving. Must pass pre employment drug test Must pass criminal background check Must have a good MVR with 2 years of class A CDL experience Skills Proven experience in truck driving with a valid commercial driver's license (CDL). Proficiency in operating manual transmission vehicles. Familiarity with route driving and navigation systems. Experience with delivery driving and handling various types of cargo. Ability to operate forklifts and other loading equipment safely. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols. Excellent time management skills to ensure timely deliveries.
