Job Description
Lead the Team. Improve Routes. Deliver Great Service. Curbside Waste is a locally owned, growing waste and recycling company serving the Twin Cities. We're looking for a Lead Driver & Operations Improvement Coach/Trainer to help lead our drivers, improve daily operations, and provide excellent customer service. This is a working leadership role —you'll spend part of your day driving routes while also coaching drivers, promoting safety, and helping improve efficiency across our locations in Big Lake, Brooklyn Park, Dayton, & Savage MN . This is a full-time leadership position with a minimum of 40 hours per week, and overtime opportunities are available often based on operational needs. Monday through Friday workweek, with only six Saturdays required per year. We have opportunities available for opening shifts as well as closing shifts. Because this is a leadership role, flexibility is essential. Driver Managers help ensure our operations run smoothly each day and are expected to work the schedule needed to support their team, customers, and the business. We're looking for someone who understands that great leaders do what it takes to help the team succeed while maintaining a strong commitment to safety, customer service, and operational excellence. What You'll Do Drive collection routes and lead by example. Train, coach, and mentor new and existing drivers. Promote a strong safety culture and DOT compliance. Conduct ride-alongs and provide performance feedback. Support Dispatch with route improvements and daily operations. Fill in on routes as needed. Help resolve customer service issues quickly and professionally. Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and productivity. Qualifications Class A or B CDL required. Commercial driving experience required (waste industry preferred). Leadership or supervisory experience preferred. Strong communication, coaching, and problem-solving skills.
