Perform routine inspection and preventive maintenance on assigned equipment and refer defects or repairs to supervisor; cleans equipment. Provide outstanding customer service during delivery and pickup operations. Maintain all required certifications required by DOT and OSHA and company safety programs. Maintain and protect all property in excellent condition. May plan route to ensure most economical use of time and equipment Operate conveyors, skid loaders, mowers, compost turners, tractors, floaters, welders, and other equipment and tools to maintain company property and equipment. Cut trees and brush, and remove trees and weeds. Perform all duties in conformance to appropriate safety and security standards. Control traffic at worksites by flagging to guide traffic through work areas, as required or assigned. Perform any other tasks assigned to support and improve the overall team operations. Work Environment While performing the duties of this job, the employee frequently works in outside weather conditions, including extreme heat and cold. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and humid conditions, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and vibration. Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that an employee must meet to perform the essential functions of this job successfully. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, balancing, crawling, and climbing all day. The employee must occasionally lift and move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position. Hours of work are but are not limited to Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week. Can require working on weekends and overtime pay over 40 hours per week. Compensation & Benefits Hourly pay rate is commensurate with experience, between $25 and $30 per hour. After 60 days of employment, you are eligible for company health benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as 401k, paid time off, and paid company holidays. Required Education and Experience High school diploma or GED. One year of relevant experience, or any equivalent combination of education and experience that demonstrates the ability to do the job.
