Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Internal Tow Truck Driver to join our team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for safely towing, recovering, and transporting vehicles within our dealership premises. Your mechanical knowledge, customer service skills, and commitment to safety will ensure efficient vehicle movement and uphold our reputation for quality service. This is an hourly position with a Monday-Friday daytime schedule with no nights or weekends required. Duties Operate tow truck to tow, load, and unload vehicles safely within the dealership yard,in between stores and auctions. Secure vehicles onto flatbed tow trucks following cargo securement protocols to prevent damage during transit. Conduct vehicle recovery towing operations efficiently, ensuring adherence to safety standards and proper load balancing. Manage conflict situations professionally when coordinating with customers or team members regarding vehicle handling or delays. Maintain accurate records of all towing activities, vehicle conditions, and operational logs in compliance with company policies. Qualifications Valid drivers liscence with a clean driving record; experience with commercial truck driving preferred. Must be able to pass DOT medical exam. Familiarity with cargo securement protocols and safe vehicle loading onto tow trucks. Excellent customer service skills to handle interactions professionally and positively. Ability to operate flatbed tow trucks and tow vehicles using manual transmission confidently. Knowledge of vehicle recovery towing techniques and car towing procedures. Effective conflict management skills to resolve issues calmly and efficiently.
