Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Tow Truck Driver and become a vital part of our roadside assistance and vehicle recovery operations! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for safely towing, recovering, and transporting vehicles of all types, ensuring prompt and professional service for our customers. Duties Operate tow trucks, including flatbed and vehicle recovery towing equipment, to safely load and transport vehicles. Conduct basic vehicle troubleshooting and minor mechanical repairs to ensure tow trucks are in optimal condition. Follow cargo securement protocols to guarantee safe transportation of vehicles and prevent accidents during transit. Perform vehicle diagnostics to identify mechanical issues that may affect towing or recovery operations. Assist customers with car towing requests, providing excellent customer service with professionalism and empathy. Execute safe vehicle loading onto tow trucks, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations. Manage vehicle recovery operations efficiently, including accident scene management and vehicle retrieval from difficult locations. Qualifications Proven experience in commercial truck driving or automotive repair, with a valid driver's license suitable for operating heavy-duty tow trucks. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform minor mechanical repairs and basic vehicle troubleshooting. Familiarity with automotive diagnostics and automotive mechanics for truck drivers is highly desirable. Knowledge of cargo securement protocols and safe vehicle loading techniques. Excellent driving skills with experience in manual transmission vehicles and flatbed tow trucks. Ability to manage conflict situations professionally while maintaining safety standards.
