Overview Description:

Looking for a driver that has minimum 3 years of experience. Driver will be delivering no-touch freight. Driver will be home most nights and no weekend work. Work hours are typically 50-60hrs/week and paid time and a half after 45hrs/wk. Work is year around. Health premium reimbursement offered up to $300/mo.

Duties:

Operate and drive trucks to transport recycled scrap material to various destinations Follow safety protocols and regulations while driving and operating heavy equipment Inspect trucks before and after each trip, reporting any maintenance or repair needs Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption

Skills:

3 years of experience is required . Proficient in operating heavy equipment such as manual transmission vehicles Experience in route driving and familiarity with local roads and traffic patterns. Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate recordkeeping and adherence to delivery schedules Excellent communication skills to interact with clients, coworkers, and supervisors Please note that a valid commercial driver's license (CDL) is required for this position.
