This is a 1099 position, the ideal candidate will have experience driving various types of trucks, including tractor-trailers and dump trucks, and will be responsible for transporting waste and construction materials. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to manage time and routes effectively. Duties Operate and drive a variety of trucks including walking floor trailer, drop and hook, and dump truck. Navigate routes efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance. Maintain accurate logs of daily work sheets. Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding route changes or delays. Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the truck. Requirements Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements (A). Proven experience in truck driving with a strong understanding of manual and automatic transmission operation. Ability to work independently while maintaining a high level of professionalism. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices.
