Role:

Tersteeg Transport Inc is looking for a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join their team in Olivia, MN! This is a great opportunity to get behind the wheel with a company that values its drivers and keeps freight moving. If you take pride in safe, on-time delivery and love life on the road, we want to hear from you. This position is 100% local hauling and would be home daily. Hour of work will vary depending on customer demand. There is no minimum or maximum of guaranteed hours per workweek.

Salary:

Yearly - $90,000 - $120,000

Paid Bi-weekly Responsibilities:

Operate commercial truck to transport and deliver freight safely and on schedule Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure DOT compliance Maintain accurate driver logs and records in accordance with FMCSA regulations Unload cargo as needed Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding routes, delays, and delivery status Adhere to all federal, state, and local traffic and transportation laws Maintain a clean and well-maintained vehicle at all times

Requirements:

Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A) Clean driving record with a strong commitment to safety Must be 21 + Must be able to operate a live bottom/ belt trailer (experience with operation of belt trailer is appreciated) Manual transmission certified Knowledge of DOT regulations and Hours of Service (HOS) rules Ability to operate and maneuver large commercial vehicles in various conditions Strong time management and organizational skills Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen Previous commercial driving experience preferred
