Lynde Enterprises is hiring dependable Snow Plow & Equipment Operators for the upcoming winter season. This position involves operating company-owned Ford trucks, primarily F-350s equipped with V-plows , as well as Bobcats/skid steers to clear snow from commercial properties. Snow removal is weather-dependent and requires flexibility. We are looking for reliable operators who understand that when the snow starts, we work until the job is done. Responsibilities Operate Ford F-350 and similar trucks equipped with V-plows or Operate Bobcats/skid steers for snow removal Plow commercial parking lots, drive lanes, entrances, and other assigned areas Shovel Small Sidewalks as needed, Note We have a separate shoveling crew for sidewalks, but may ocasionally need plower to help Safely maneuver equipment around vehicles, curbs, buildings, light poles, and other obstacles Follow assigned snow routes and property-specific instructions Perform basic pre-trip and post-trip checks of trucks and equipment Report equipment problems or property issues promptly Maintain communication with the snow operations team throughout each event Work efficiently and safely throughout the entire snow event What We're Looking For Valid driver's license and good driving record Comfortable driving and maneuvering an F-350 or similar full-size pickup Previous snow plowing experience preferred Preferred Experience operating a V-plow or Bobcat/skid steer experience Dependable and able to report to work when called Ability and willingness to work long shifts of 12+ hours when necessary Availability for overnight, early morning, weekend, and holiday snow events Ability to remain focused and operate equipment safely during extended snow events Able to work independently and follow an assigned route Reliable transportation to and from work Schedule & Availability This is a seasonal, on-call, weather-dependent position. There is not a traditional set weekly schedule. Hours depend entirely on snowfall and winter weather conditions. Snow events can happen at any time, day or night. Operators must be prepared for long shifts, including 12+ hour shifts during larger or ongoing storms. Reliability is extremely important. When you are scheduled for a snow event, we need to be able to count on you to arrive on time and remain available for the duration of your assigned work.
