Lynde Enterprises is hiring dependable Snow Shoveling Crew Members for the upcoming winter season. We are hiring both Drivers and Riders to work as part of our sidewalk snow removal crews. Crews travel together to commercial properties throughout their assigned route, clearing sidewalks, entrances, steps, and other areas that cannot be cleared with a plow. This is a seasonal, on-call position. Snow doesn't follow a regular schedule, so we're looking for people who are dependable, flexible, and ready to work when winter weather hits. Often shifts are Over Night Hours into morning. What You'll Do Shovel snow from sidewalks, entrances, steps, and other designated areas Apply salt/ice melt as needed Use snow blowers and other snow removal equipment Work efficiently as part of a crew to complete an assigned route Load and unload shovels, snow blowers, salt, and other equipment Work outdoors in snow, cold temperatures, wind, and changing winter conditions Follow property-specific instructions and safety procedures Help keep customer properties safe and accessible Driver Positions Drivers are responsible for transporting the crew between properties using a company-provided vehicle in addition to performing the same snow removal work as the rest of the crew.

Drivers must:

Have a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record Be comfortable driving in winter and snowy conditions Safely transport crew members and equipment between properties Follow the assigned route and communicate with supervisors as needed Be dependable and able to report when called for a snow event Rider Positions Riders travel with a crew driver in a company vehicle between properties. A driver's license is not required for rider positions. Riders are expected to participate fully in shoveling, snow blowing, salting, and other sidewalk snow removal work throughout the shift. Schedule & Availability This is a weather-dependent, on-call position. There are no guaranteed set weekly hours. Snow events can happen day or night, including early mornings, overnight, weekends, and holidays. Applicants must be willing and able to work long shifts, including 12+ hours when necessary during larger or ongoing snow events. Reliability is extremely important. When you're scheduled for a snow event, we're counting on you to arrive on time and be prepared to work for the duration of the assigned route. Physical Requirements This is a physically demanding outdoor position. Crew members must be able to: Shovel snow repeatedly throughout a shift Lift and carry approximately 50 lbs. Walk and stand for extended periods Bend, lift, push, and perform repetitive physical work Work outdoors for extended periods in cold, snowy, icy, and windy conditions Safely perform physical work during long snow events What We Provide Company vehicle for each crew Shovels and snow removal equipment Snow blowers Salt/ice melt and necessary supplies Pay is based on position and applicable experience. What We're Looking For Previous snow removal or landscaping experience is helpful, but not required .
