Summary CHS Ag Services in Stephen, MN is looking for a Seasonal Truck Driver to join our team! This individual would be responsible for hauling fertilizer to our local farmers and ranchers. This position is M-F home daily with Saturdays as needed based on business need and would run from September-mid November. Shifts are typically 10-12 hours per day. The ideal candidate would have a Class A or B CDL or the ability to obtain a seasonal B license. Join our team today! Responsibilities Operate a semi-tractor and trailer (or straight truck) to deliver non-hazardous materials to customer sites across complex or variable routes, ensuring safe and efficient executionDrive in accordance with DOT regulations and company policies, using sound judgment regarding route safety, road conditions, and compliance requirementsProvide professional customer service during pickups and deliveries; communicate clearly, resolve routine issues, and escalate non-routine concerns as appropriateConnect and disconnect trailers, and perform product transfer loading and unloading activities in accordance with safety protocolsComplete required delivery documentation and daily load/unload reports, and maintain accurate electronic logs and onboard computer entriesPerform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, and report maintenance, safety, or equipment concerns promptlyReport accidents, incidents, near misses, and equipment issues; follow required procedures; and model strong safety and compliance behaviorsProvide informal guidance and support to Associate Drivers as needed regarding routes, equipment operation, and safety practicesShare operational knowledge and best practices to support team efficiency, safety, and customer satisfactionMinimum Qualifications (required) Valid Class A or Class B CDL (as required for the equipment/route)Have a minimum of 1 year of verifiable CDL driving experienceMust meet age requirementAbility to read, write, and communicate in English Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety and compliance, and complete required documentation accurately Additional Qualifications Demonstrate the ability to operate independently in a high-skill driving role, including managing complex routes or delivery requirementsDemonstrated safe-driving performance and ability to make sound safety decisions in changing weather and road conditionsStrong customer service skills and a history of positive customer feedbackAbility to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs require.
