Job Description Who is Cabinetworks Group? We are the U.S.'s second largest cabinetry manufacturer, with offices and manufacturing facilities across the country. Our 15 cabinetry brands represent an extensive range of framed, frameless, and inset cabinetry products. The Waconia facility is home to the Medallion brand. The Back Up Class A CDL Driver helps as a back-up driver when primary driver is on vacation or absent. When covering, the driver will move trailers around our campus in Waconia, MN. During the off-time, the Back Up Class A CDL Driver will work in the production area helping with the manufacturing of cabinets. Like most positions at our Waconia plant, opportunities to learn and advance are available and encouraged.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
This person will be responsible for moving trailers in our yards, loading/unloading trailers as necessary. This individual will also be required to complete truck driver job duties. Responsible for deliveries made to and from the receiving area via forklift and pallet jack, stacking of all parts, and cleanliness of the area. Ability to provide accurate documentation and paper flow, as needed. Assists in reporting information and may help during inventories/cycle counts. Other duties as assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Must have a valid MN Class A CDL license. This person must qualify to be a Class A CDL driver per MN regulations and statutes. Previous forklift experience is required (both sit down and stand up equipment). At times heavy lifting and push/pull heavy containers may be required. Good oral and written communication skills required. Excellent organizational skills are needed. Math abilities and Cabinetworks Group product/parts knowledge needed. Good attendance required. Must have an excellent driving record and safe driving habits. Ability to follow paperwork accurately. Requires pushing up to 100 lbs. Requires lifting up to 50 lbs.
