Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a reliable and skilled Dump Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting materials to and from job sites while ensuring safety and compliance with all regulations. Duties Operate dump trucks in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. Load and unload materials as required, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage. Conduct routine inspections of the vehicle before and after trips, reporting any maintenance issues promptly. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including routes taken and materials transported. Collaborate with dispatchers to plan routes effectively, optimizing delivery times while ensuring safety. Drive a truck with a manual transmission. Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations regarding commercial driving. Experience Proven experience in truck driving with a valid commercial driver's license (CDL). Strong understanding of load unloading procedures and safety protocols related to truck operations. Equipment experience in a track loader and excavator to load the truck. Tailgate spreading rock. Ability to navigate using maps or GPS systems effectively.
