7:00 AM-7:00 PM, with earlier days possible depending on workload
Location:
Local hauling — home every day About the Position We are looking for a reliable and safety-minded Class A CDL Driver to join our team for the upcoming corn harvest season. The driver will operate a semi-truck with a hopper-bottom trailer for local agricultural hauling. This is a great seasonal opportunity for an experienced driver who is dependable, hardworking, and comfortable working longer hours during harvest. Responsibilities Safely operate a semi-truck and hopper-bottom trailer. Transport harvested corn and agricultural materials between local locations. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections. Follow all DOT and company safety requirements. Securely and safely load, transport, and unload materials. Maintain accurate records and required documentation. Communicate with the team regarding loads, routes, and daily work. Keep the truck and equipment clean and in good working condition. Work efficiently during the busy harvest season. Requirements Valid Class A CDL. Clean and safe driving history preferred. Dependable and responsible work ethic. Ability to work extended harvest-season hours. Ability to safely operate a semi-truck. Hopper-bottom experience is a plus but not required. Must be willing to work occasional Saturdays as needed. What We Offer Competitive cash pay Home every day Local hauling Monday-Friday schedule Occasional Saturdays Seasonal position from September through the end of October Opportunity for additional hours during peak harvest Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-conscious, punctual, and ready to work hard during the harvest season. Agricultural or hopper-bottom experience is helpful, but we are willing to consider a qualified Class A CDL driver who is willing to learn.
