Job Overview In this energetic role, you will operate dump trucks and construction machinery to transport materials, support excavation and grading activities, and ensure smooth project progress. Responsibilities Operate dump trucks and other heavy construction machinery such as excavators, and loaders to move materials efficiently across job sites. Perform routine maintenance checks and basic mechanical repairs on construction equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance. Assist with excavation, construction grading, and site preparation tasks to support various phases of construction projects. Follow all federal construction safety regulations, equipment safety procedures, and site-specific safety protocols to maintain a secure work environment. Conduct pre-operation inspections of vehicles and machinery to identify potential issues before use. Qualifications Proven experience in commercial truck driving, heavy equipment operation, or construction utility work is essential. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform routine maintenance on dump trucks, excavators, loaders, and other machinery. Familiarity with construction site safety regulations including OSHA standards and federal safety regulations related to heavy equipment operation. Ability to operate loaders, excavators, and other construction machinery confidently in various terrain conditions. Knowledge of construction grading techniques, excavation processes, and paving operations is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and following detailed instructions. We will look at driving record. Class A license is required. This position is for a manual dump truck, 13 speed.

$30.00 - $35.00 per hour Expected hours: 30.0 - 50.0 per week
