Hogan1 is seeking highly motivated and committed CDL-A Truck Drivers to join our dedicated team. Responsibilities Safely operate a tractor-trailer to transport goods to designated locations in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations. Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues, reporting any deficiencies promptly. Plan routes and meet delivery schedules, adhering to predetermined routes and schedules to optimize costs and delivery times. Document and log work/rest periods, mileage, and retain fuel/toll receipts in compliance with state and federal regulations. Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking, break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures. Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions, ensuring that all loading and unloading is carried out smoothly without incident. Report defects, accidents, or violations and take appropriate preventive measures to avoid future occurrences. Required Skills Proven work experience as a truck driver with a solid understanding of dispatch operations. Hands-on experience with electronic equipment and software (GPS, AVL units, CB, etc.). Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly with overnight stays as required. Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations. Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions, etc.). Strong organizational and time-management skills.
