This position requires extensive travel, overnight stays, and the ability to work closely with paving crews to support roadway construction operations. The ideal candidate will have a valid Class A CDL with Tanker endorsement, a strong commitment to safety, and the flexibility to travel wherever projects are located. - This position requires extensive travel - DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES Safely operate a tractor trailer tanker in a manner that reduces risk and liabilities. Transport fuel, water, and other liquid materials in accordance with State and Federal regulations. Load, unload, and handle liquid products using proper pumping equipment and procedures. Ensure proper securement and handling of liquid loads to prevent spills or contamination. Perform and properly document pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck and trailer to ensure they are in a safe and legal condition. Maintain accurate records of trip details, including mileage, fuel consumption, product volumes, and hours worked. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, project managers, and other team members to coordinate delivery schedules in a direct and friendly manner. Always adhere to Emery Sapp & Sons safety policies and procedures. Perform basic maintenance and minor repairs on the truck and trailer when necessary. Assist with loading and unloading operations at job sites and facilities as needed. Occasional heavy lifting. Work primarily in and around the Muskogee, OK area, with some travel as required. Accurately navigate a tractor trailer using instructions, maps, or GPS, to a wide variety of locations both on road and off. Properly wear and safely use PPE. Properly record hours worked using an ELD in compliance with Hours of Service regulations. Document product pickups and deliveries. Ensure accuracy of product type, quantity, and delivery location.
