Job Description

Are you a hardworking, self-motivated driver who takes pride in doing the job right? At Battery Outfitters, we invest in our people, and our people invest right back in us — that's the deal, and it's why our Route Sales Drivers stick around. We're looking for someone to join our Cottleville team, and this one comes with serious perks, real earning potential, and a company culture that actually walks the talk. The Opportunity This isn't just a driving job. You'll own your route, build lasting relationships with customers, and directly impact your own paycheck through a generous bonus structure. With a base salary of $60,000 plus monthly bonuses, top performers have the potential to earn $65,000 or more per year. And if you have a secure location to park the truck, you can take it home every night — no fighting traffic back to the yard. What Your Days Look Like You'll run your own daily route — managing sales, collecting cores, and keeping customer battery inventory dialed in. You'll build strong relationships with customers and make sure every stop exceeds expectations, keep your truck inventory accurate and organized, and put in the work to earn ownership of your route. You'll start by riding with an experienced driver to learn the ropes, then graduate to running things on your own. You'll load out of our Cottleville location at least twice a week. Who You Are You're reliable, organized, and ready to take ownership of your route. You bring a genuine customer-first mindset and a real desire to go above and beyond on every stop. You're physically capable of heavy lifting and comfortable staying active and on the move all day. A Class B CDL and 2+ years of route driving experience are required. What You'll Get We ask a lot, because we give a lot back. When you put in the work, we put in the investment: Expect one night a week overnight (Company pays for Hotel and food) Base pay of $60,000/year Monthly performance bonuses — top earners clear $65,000+ Take-home truck privilege (secure parking location required) Medical, dental, and vision insurance Life insurance 401(k) with company matching Paid time off, plus 1 week vacation in your first year Paid training and uniforms provided Monday-Friday, 10-hour day shifts — weekends are yours Why Battery Outfitters? We're built on Servant Leadership — and that's not a buzzword here, it's how we operate every single day. We treat our team members with the same respect and appreciation we give our best customers. You'll have a support staff behind you that's second to none in the industry, and real opportunities to grow with a company that genuinely invests in its people. We use a three-step interview process to make sure we're the right fit for each other — because we take culture seriously and want every hire to be the right one.
