Class A CDL Truck Driver

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and experienced Class A CDL Truck Driver to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating and moving machines. Your expertise in heavy equipment operation and knowledge of construction processes will be vital to supporting our projects' success. Responsibilities Safely operate semi-trucks, adhering to all safety regulations and company policies during transportation of materials on construction sites. Perform routine inspections of the semi truck, including checking mechanical systems, fluid levels, brakes, and tires to ensure optimal operation. Coordinate with site supervisors and other heavy equipment operators to plan routes and delivery schedules for maximum efficiency. Assist with the loading and unloading of materials using excavators, loaders, backhoes, or other heavy equipment as needed. Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, fuel consumption, maintenance activities, and daily operational reports. Support other construction activities by operating additional heavy equipment such as graders, water trucks, dozers, or horizontal drilling machinery when required. Ensure compliance with all safety standards related to construction site operations and heavy equipment handling. Experience Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A with a clean driving record. Proven experience operating dump trucks in a construction or heavy civil environment. Mechanical knowledge of heavy equipment including excavators, loaders, dozers, graders, water trucks, tankers, and horizontal drilling machinery. Familiarity with construction site safety protocols and regulations. Hands-on experience with Caterpillar or similar heavy machinery is preferred. Prior involvement in paving projects or working around paving equipment is advantageous. Strong understanding of construction processes and ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
