Duties Safely operate commercial vehicles, including concrete mixer trucks, dump trucks, and other heavy equipment to transport concrete and related materials to construction sites. Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment to ensure safety and compliance with all regulations. Load and unload materials using mechanical knowledge of loaders, excavators, and other construction machinery. Assist with concrete pouring, finishing, and pumping tasks on-site to support construction crews. Maintain accurate delivery logs, delivery schedules, and documentation for all shipments. Communicate effectively with project managers, site supervisors, and team members to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues promptly. Adhere strictly to safety protocols, including proper rebar installation procedures and construction site safety standards. Qualifications Valid CDL Class A or B license with a clean driving record. Knowledge of construction site operations, including concrete forming and finishing techniques. Mechanical aptitude for maintaining and troubleshooting commercial vehicles and equipment. Prior experience as a Ready Mix Driver and working on construction sites is a plus. Strong understanding of safety regulations related to commercial driving and construction environments. Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting heavy materials, climbing onto trucks or machinery, and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
