Responsibilities Operate a CDL A tractor-trailer safely on dedicated routes Haul and deliver no-touch freight on time to customer locations Perform pre-trip, in-route, and post-trip vehicle inspections Follow all DOT regulations and Riverside Transport safety policies Accurately maintain electronic logs and required documentation Safely couple, uncouple, and maneuver trailers in yards and docks Communicate with dispatch and customers regarding schedules and issues Report equipment defects and coordinate maintenance as needed Adhere to route plans while adjusting safely for road and weather conditions Represent Riverside Transport professionally with customers and the public Required Skills CDL A tractor-trailer operation Defensive driving and safety compliance Hours-of-Service and DOT regulations Electronic logging devices (ELD) use Trip planning and time management Vehicle inspection and basic troubleshooting Backing and maneuvering in tight spaces Freight securement procedures Communication with dispatch and customers Use of GPS and in-cab technology
