Take your truck home with no switching seats Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Rollback Operator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating tow trucks and recovery vehicles to assist with vehicle transport, recovery, and roadside assistance. Your expertise in automotive diagnostics, mechanical knowledge, and safe cargo securement will ensure efficient vehicle recovery operations. Duties Operate rollback tow trucks and flatbed vehicles to recover, load, and transport vehicles safely and efficiently Conduct minor mechanical repairs and basic troubleshooting on vehicles during recovery or roadside assistance Ensure cargo is secured according to cargo securement protocols to prevent accidents during transit Perform vehicle diagnostics to assess damage or mechanical issues before recovery or repair Safely load and unload vehicles using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or manual tools Follow all safety procedures related to vehicle loading onto tow trucks and vehicle recovery towing Communicate effectively with customers, dispatchers, and team members to coordinate operations and resolve conflicts professionally Skills Strong automotive diagnostics skills with the ability to perform minor mechanical repairs Proven experience in automotive repair, vehicle mechanics for truck drivers, or related fields Valid commercial truck driving license with experience in commercial driving and flatbed operations Knowledge of cargo securement protocols and safe vehicle loading techniques onto tow trucks Skilled in conflict management with excellent customer service abilities Ability to operate forklifts safely and efficiently when needed for loading or unloading Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles and basic vehicle troubleshooting techniques Experience with vehicle recovery towing, car towing, and safe roadside assistance procedures Mechanical knowledge of automotive systems relevant to truck drivers and tow truck operations Ability to load & unload vehicles quickly while maintaining safety standards Join us as a Rollback Operator and become an essential part of our team dedicated to providing top-tier vehicle recovery services.
