Mostly drop and hook, the same planner every week, and home or through the house often. New CDL grads start with a paid mentor. What you earn Paid $850 a week in training $1,000 a week guaranteed for your first 3 months solo About $1,400 a week once solo About 2,000 miles a week Weekly direct deposit Your week Regional lanes across the Midwest, majority drop and hook. Home weekly for your 34-hour reset. What new drivers ask us "How often will I see home?" Once a week, for your 34-hour reset. "Does my CDL school count?" If it was 120 hours or more, yes. "Do I pay for orientation?" No. Hotel covered, bus ticket reimbursed, and $300 once you are hired. "I am not good at backing yet." Nobody is on day one. You practice for weeks with a mentor beside you before you drive alone. "What if my first solo weeks are slow?" You still get at least $1,000 a week for your first 3 months solo. What happens after you apply A recruiter calls the same business day and goes over your license and record with you. Orientation takes 2 days at most; the hotel is covered, your bus ticket is reimbursed, and you get $300 for attending once hired. Then you ride 4 to 6 weeks with a mentor who coaches you on backing, logs, fueling and trip planning, and you are paid $850 a week while you learn. When you are ready, you get your own assigned truck, about 1.5 years old on average. For your first 3 months solo, your pay will not drop below $1,000 a week. To qualify You must be 21 or older with a Class A CDL. New drivers need at least 120 hours from a CDL school; otherwise, 6 months of recent experience. We accept up to 2 moving violations in the last 2 years and no DUI/DWI in the last 10. You will also pass a DOT physical and a hair and urine drug test. Once you pass 30 days Full medical, dental, vision and prescription coverage, a 401(k), an employee stock purchase plan, paid vacation, yearly raises, and a free online degree for you and one family member.
