(Department of Transportation) regulations Tanker Endorsement Full Job Description About the Role H&S&Sons is seeking an experienced, dependable Class B CDL Operator to operate our Jetter/Vac (JC) combo trucks and hydro-excavation equipment. Equipment Operation:
Safely operate Class B commercial vehicles, including Jetter/Vac combo trucks (JC), vacuum units, and hydro-excavation equipment.
Sewer & Excavation Work:
Perform jetting, vacuuming, line cleaning, and non-destructive hydro-excavating on various underground utility and municipal job sites.
Safety & Compliance:
Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections (DOT/DVIR), adhere to site safety protocols, and maintain a clean, safe working environment.
Rigging & Setup:
Position trucks on job sites, assemble vacuum hoses, water lines, and nozzles, and perform manual field work as required.
Maintenance:
Perform basic troubleshooting, daily maintenance, and washdowns on trucks and specialized pumping equipment. Qualifications & Requirements
License:
Active Class B CDL (Class A is also welcome) with a clean driving record.
Endorsements:
Tanker endorsement preferred (or willing to obtain upon hire).
Experience:
Hands-on experience operating Jetter/Vac combo (JC) or vacuum equipment required. Prior experience in sewer maintenance, utility work, or hydro-excavation strongly preferred.
Physical Capability:
Ability to lift 50+ lbs, handle heavy vacuum/water hoses, and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
Reliability:
Strong work ethic, punctual, and capable of working well in a team environment. Pay & Benefits

$30.00 / hour
