3007324625-2 Apply for this job now Job Description GFL Environmental is seeking a CDL Roll-Off Driver to safely operate roll-off trucks for collection, transport, and disposal of waste and recyclable materials. In this role, you will complete assigned routes, perform pre- and post-trip inspections, secure loads, and ensure compliance with DOT and company safety standards. You will interact professionally with customers, maintain accurate route and disposal records, and report equipment or service issues. Responsibilities Safely operate CDL roll-off truck to collect and transport waste and recyclables Complete assigned daily routes on time while following all traffic and DOT regulations Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs Secure containers and loads to prevent spills and ensure safe transport Follow proper disposal procedures at landfills, transfer stations, and recycling facilities Maintain accurate logs, route sheets, and disposal tickets Provide professional, courteous service to commercial and residential customers Adhere to GFL and OSHA safety standards, including PPE and safe work practices Communicate route, service, or equipment issues to dispatch or supervisors Support a clean, environmentally responsible operation in assigned service areas Required Skills CDL truck driving Roll-off truck operation Defensive driving Route navigation Vehicle inspection and maintenance Waste hauling and disposal procedures Load securement DOT and safety compliance Time management Customer service
