Duties Operate tow trucks, including flatbed and vehicle recovery towing units, to assist stranded or damaged vehicles efficiently and safely Perform vehicle recovery towing with precision, ensuring proper load & unload procedures while following cargo securement protocols Conduct basic vehicle troubleshooting and minor mechanical repairs to facilitate smooth towing operations Safely load and unload vehicles onto tow trucks, adhering to safety standards and mechanical knowledge of vehicle mechanics for truck drivers Use automotive diagnostics skills to assess vehicle issues and determine appropriate towing or repair actions Maintain clear communication with customers, dispatchers, and emergency responders to coordinate timely assistance Follow all safety procedures during vehicle loading onto tow trucks and while on the road, ensuring compliance with traffic laws and company policies Requirements Valid commercial truck driving license with experience in commercial driving and car towing operations Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in automotive diagnostics and minor mechanical repairs Skilled in manual transmission operation with a focus on safe vehicle handling and driving Knowledge of cargo securement protocols to prevent accidents or damage during transit Strong conflict management skills to handle challenging situations professionally and calmly Ability to troubleshoot basic vehicle issues quickly using automotive repair techniques Prior experience operating flatbed tow trucks or similar equipment is highly desirable Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude in all interactions Join us as a Tow Truck Operator and drive your career forward!
