Responsibilities Safely operate tow trucks, including flatbed and other specialized vehicles, to recover and transport vehicles of various sizes and types Perform vehicle recovery towing with precision, adhering to cargo securement protocols to prevent damage during transit Conduct basic vehicle troubleshooting and minor mechanical repairs to assist stranded motorists or prepare vehicles for transport Load and unload vehicles carefully, ensuring safe vehicle loading onto tow trucks following all safety guidelines Communicate effectively with customers, dispatchers, and emergency responders to coordinate timely service delivery Follow all safety procedures related to commercial truck driving, cargo securement, and vehicle mechanics for truck drivers Maintain accurate records of all towing activities, vehicle conditions, and service logs for accountability and reporting Skills Proven experience with automotive diagnostics, automotive repair, and basic vehicle troubleshooting Strong mechanical knowledge of vehicle mechanics for truck drivers and minor mechanical repairs Valid Class E license with a clean driving record; experience with commercial truck driving preferred Skilled in conflict management to handle customer interactions professionally and calmly under pressure Proficiency in operating flatbed tow trucks and other tow truck types safely and efficiently Knowledge of cargo securement protocols to ensure safe transportation of vehicles Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication abilities Ability to load & unload vehicles properly using manual transmission skills when necessary Familiarity with vehicle recovery towing techniques and safe vehicle loading procedures Join us as a Tow Truck Driver and be part of a dedicated team committed to delivering exceptional roadside assistance!
