Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and experienced Dump Truck Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating a dump truck to transport materials and debris, as well as utilizing trailers to complete these tasks. Your expertise in commercial truck driving and adherence to safety regulations will ensure timely deliveries and efficient operations. Responsibilities Operate dump trucks equipped with manual transmission, ensuring safe handling and compliance with DOT (Department of Transportation) standards. Secure, transport, and unload various types of freight, including construction materials, different raw materials, and junk disposals. Navigate efficiently using GPS systems to follow designated routes for local deliveries. Perform routine inspections of the vehicle before and after trips, including checking load integrity, tire pressure, brakes, lights, and fluid levels. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, material details, delivery records, and inspection reports in accordance with state regulations and safety protocols. Communicate effectively with site personnel to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve any route or material issues promptly. Qualifications Valid commercial driver's license (CDL). Class A with Combination and Air Brakes Class B with Air Brakes and 54,000 lbs Proven experience in commercial truck driving, including delivery driving and route driving with a focus on freight transportation. Strong knowledge of State of Missouri DOT regulations, hazardous materials regulations, and safety standards for truck loading/unloading. Experience operating trucks with manual transmission and familiarity with GPS navigation systems for efficient route planning. Ability to handle manual tasks related to truck loading/unloading and cargo handling safely and effectively. Good driving record with a focus on safety compliance during routes. Physical capability to perform manual handling tasks required for load & unload activities in various weather conditions.
