Volumetric Concrete Truck Driver Midwest Heavy Construction, LLC Pleasant Hill, MO Job Details Full-time $25 - $30 an hour 4 hours ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance Qualifications Heavy equipment operation CDL A High school diploma or GED Air Brake Endorsement Loader operation Construction experience Commercial driving Full Job Description Job Description Responsible for the delivery and batch mix of ordered concrete and other associated products to construction job sites in a safe and efficient manner. Reports to dispatch for assigned location. Mix and prepare concrete batch at jobsites in accordance to order specifications, using approved mix designs. The Operator is responsible for loading the truck with material (sand and rock) with a front-end loader and cement from the storage silos into the truck. Daily cleaning and greasing of the equipment and truck is required along with other preventive maintenance activities and duties around the yard.
Essential Functions:
- Operates and maintains medium to heavy equipment such as front-end loader, mobile volumetric mixing truck, and other essential equipment.
- Loads and unloads materials from trucks.
- Stocks vehicle with necessary equipment and material.
- Cleans and maintains truck/ equipment.
- Observes and promotes all established safety procedures.
- Conducts inspections of equipment and reports mechanical concerns/issues for repair.
- May perform manual labor work related to maintenance and construction.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Must pass a background check and drug test
- Valid Medical Certification
- Must be able to stoop, crawl, and climb ladders
- Requires occasional lifting of up to 75lbs
- Heavy equipment operating experience preferred but not required.
- A valid Class "B" or "A" CDL with air brake.
- Ability to report to work on time, maintain a good attendance record, and work all designated work schedules.
