In this energetic role, you will be responsible for safely transporting freight across various routes, with a focus on timely deliveries and exceptional customer service. Your expertise in commercial truck driving, combined with your knowledge of regulations and cargo handling, will ensure smooth operations and satisfied clients. Duties Operate tractor-trailers, adhering to all FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) and DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations. Navigate routes efficiently using GPS navigation systems to meet delivery schedules across diverse locations. Transport freight via route driving, ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining safety standards. Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure compliance with safety standards and operational readiness. Document delivery activities accurately, including load & unload records, delivery logs, and incident reports when necessary. Experience Proven experience in commercial truck driving, with a focus on freight delivery across various routes. Valid commercial driver's license (Class A CDL), with no restrictions. Knowledge of FMCSA regulations, DOT regulations, and safety protocols related to truck driving and cargo handling. Strong understanding of logistics cargo handling processes and route planning using GPS navigation tools.
