Dump Truck Driver JLCS St. Louis, MO Job Details Part-time $25 - $27 an hour 8 hours ago Qualifications CDL B Automobile transportation Chauffeur's Permit Safety regulations Confidential Clearance Adhering to traffic regulations Truck delivery (delivery method) Driving Dump truck Vehicle codes Traffic laws Mechanical knowledge Full Job Description Transport materials to and from job sites, quarries, dumps, office, etc. Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform/schedule preventative maintenance Monitor road conditions and watch for traffic congestion. Follow all applicable traffic laws. Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, tarping, route designations, parking, break periods etc.) as well as with company policies and procedures. Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions Fill up on fuel and wash windows. Keep their truck, and associated equipment, clean and in good working order. Performs other duties as assigned. 3point contact when entering or exiting truck. Steel or composite toe shoes, long work pants. Hard hat and safety vest at worksite.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE

Proven working experience as a Dump Truck driver Hands on experience with electronic equipment (CB etc.) Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations No recent moving or driving violations Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions etc.) Willing to submit to background/drug checks and provide employment recommendations Keeps commitments and meets attendance and punctuality guidelines. Ability to communicate verbally and in written form. Valid commercial driver's license Member of Teamsters Local 682
