You'll Have the Opportunity to Safely transport individuals with disabilities in RISE vehicles Follow scheduled routes and help passengers arrive on time Assist individuals with safely entering and exiting vehicles Build positive, professional relationships with the people you transport Complete vehicle safety checks and keep vehicles clean Recognize and report safety or maintenance concerns Document mileage, incidents, and vehicle needs Respond calmly and appropriately when plans change or unexpected situations happen Be a dependable part of someone's workday and independence You May Be a Great Fit If You Enjoy driving and being out in the community Are dependable and take being on time seriously Put safety first—even when you're running behind Are patient, respectful, and comfortable working with individuals with disabilities Can communicate clearly and professionally Stay calm when something unexpected happens Notice vehicle or safety concerns before they become bigger problems Can follow a route while adapting when needed Take pride in keeping your vehicle clean and ready Enjoy working independently while still being part of a team Want a job where the people counting on you actually notice when you're there What You'll Need You must be at least 18 years old, have a high school diploma or GED, and hold a valid driver's license. You'll also need to obtain a Missouri Class E chauffeur's license within 14 days of hire and successfully complete required training and background checks. You should be comfortable driving passenger vans, assisting passengers as needed, working in different weather conditions, and lifting up to 35 pounds independently.
