Our drivers play a critical role in maintaining Hogan1's reputation by ensuring timely, efficient, and secure transportation of livestock across various routes. With our cutting-edge logistics technology and supportive team, you will have all the tools needed to succeed and grow in your career while significantly contributing to our continued leadership in the transportation industry. Responsibilities Safely transport livestock to various destinations as per scheduled routes and timetables. Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations related to livestock transportation. Monitor livestock conditions during transport and report any health or safety issues. Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and ensure the vehicle is clean and well-maintained. Record and manage logs of journeys, deliveries, and vehicle maintenance according to DOT regulations and company policies. Required Skills Strong driving skills and proficiency in handling heavy-duty trucks Knowledge of livestock handling and welfare practices Ability to adhere to schedules and manage time effectively Excellent communication and record-keeping skills Problem-solving abilities under stressful conditions
