Summary As a Driver at Philadelphia Transit, you will be an essential part of our operations, responsible for safely transporting passengers and goods throughout the city. This role is vital in supporting our commitment to customer satisfaction and operational excellence. Responsibilities Safely operate various vehicles, including transport passengers . Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while ensuring timely deliveries. Provide excellent customer service by assisting passengers with their needs during transit. Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage and fuel consumption. Assist in loading and unloading passengers as needed, including heavy lifting when required. Collaborate with dispatchers and other team members to optimize routes and schedules. Qualifications Valid driver's license or commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record. Experience in commercial driving or delivery driving preferred. Strong customer service skills to effectively interact with passengers and clients. Physical ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the job duties.
