Quantum Recovery is seeking a dependable, motivated Repossession Agent to join our field operations in the Central Mississippi area. This position is responsible for locating, safely and lawfully recovering, securing, documenting, and transporting assigned vehicles and other collateral. We are looking for someone with a strong work ethic, sound judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while representing Quantum Recovery professionally. What You'll Do Run assigned addresses and use available information to locate vehicles and collateral assigned for repossession. Operate company recovery equipment and wheel-lift/self-loader tow trucks safely and efficiently. Determine the safest recovery method, properly secure vehicles, and load, transport, and unload collateral with care to prevent damage. Communicate clearly with dispatch and recovery staff and provide detailed, timely updates on assignment activity and findings. Accurately document recoveries, vehicle condition and information, required details, and photographs using mobile applications and repossession software. Interact calmly, respectfully, and professionally with vehicle owners, the public, clients, and team members when contact occurs. Perform daily inspections of the assigned truck and recovery equipment and promptly report maintenance or safety concerns. Follow all company procedures, safety requirements, compliance standards, and applicable laws and regulations. What We're Looking For Valid driver's license and a driving record acceptable for company insurance. Prior repossession, towing, wheel-lift/self-loader, or commercial driving experience is strongly preferred. Ability to safely operate recovery equipment and work independently with minimal supervision. Dependable attendance, punctuality, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities. Good judgment, situational awareness, and the ability to remain level-headed and professional in difficult or high-pressure situations. Comfort using smartphones, mobile applications, basic computer systems, and assignment/recovery software. Basic automotive and mechanical knowledge; ability to identify routine truck or equipment issues is a plus. Ability to pass applicable pre-employment screening and drug testing requirements. Ability to remain focused while driving for extended periods and safely react to changing road and field conditions. Ability to perform the physical duties of the position, including regularly lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds. Flexibility to work days, nights, extended hours, and weekends as business needs require. Repossession work requires patience, professionalism, discretion, and the ability to make good decisions in changing situations. Candidates with prior repossession or towing experience should be confident securing and transporting vehicles while maintaining accurate documentation and communication. Related experience in logistics, commercial driving, military service, law enforcement, or corrections may also be valuable.
