Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting equipment to various locations while adhering to all safety regulations and company policies. This role requires a strong commitment to maintaining the highest standards of driving and customer service. Duties Operate various types of trailers including hydratail step decks, lowboys, and flatbeds. Lowboy experience is required. Execute route driving efficiently to ensure timely delivery of freight. Load and unload equipment using our methods as required. Maintain accurate records of logs, fuel purchases, and hours on duty. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving. Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding pick up and drop offs, and issues that may arise during transport. Utilize manual transmission. Experience Proven experience as a truck driver with a valid commercial driver's license (CDL). Familiarity with operating different types of trailers, including those mentioned above. Experience in reading permits to insure you are traveling on the correct route. Ability to load and unload equipment safely and efficiently. Previous experience operating a lowboy is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of safety regulations related to transportation and securing equipment.
