Requirements Must Have Class D License Must DOT Medical Card Must pass background check (will go back at least 10yrs) Must pass drug test Responsibilities Safely operate 26 ft box truck with lift gate for Local and up to 400 miles area delivery routes, adhering strictly to traffic regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards Load, unload, and secure cargo using manual handling techniques, pallet jacks, and material handling equipment while practicing safe lifting practices Deliver goods directly to customers' locations with professionalism, providing excellent customer service and ensuring satisfaction Manage route driving efficiently by planning optimal paths and utilizing mobile devices for navigation and communication Assist with warehouse operations including material handling, moving items within the warehouse, and supporting inventory management Conduct routine vehicle inspections, report maintenance needs, and ensure compliance with safety protocols for heavy lifting and load handling Maintain accurate delivery logs, delivery documentation, and communicate effectively with dispatch teams to coordinate schedules Skills Proven experience in delivery driving or courier roles with a focus on commercial truck driving or box truck operation Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, manual handling, and material handling equipment such as pallet jacks Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while following safe lifting practices in accordance with workplace weight handling standards Familiarity with DOT regulations, traffic laws, and weight restrictions applicable to commercial vehicle operation Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude during deliveries and interactions with clients Competence in using mobile devices for route navigation, communication, and documentation purposes Experience in moving items within warehouses or during personal vehicle delivery tasks is highly desirable Embark on a rewarding journey as a Light Commercial Driver where your energy fuels our success!
