Summary:

The primary responsibility of the Driver is to provide our customers with uninterrupted supply of products by delivering in a safe and timely manner. The Driver is also responsible ensuring compliance with DOT regulations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Maintaining vehicles and equipment Other duties as assigned by manager Work with Dispatch person to assure uninterruptible supply for our customers in a timely and safe manner Load and unload products in and out of truck, in a manner compliant with company policy and state and federal regulations, at bulk plant rack as well as refineries Operate vehicle on and off customer sites in a manner compliant with company policy and procedure and compliant with DOT Perform customer deliveries & other related truck movements as required Maintain logbook to state and federal regulations Ensuring safety and quality of product while also preventing spills by sticking tanks before and after deliveries Daily monitoring of vehicle's fluid levels as well as tire pressure to ensure safety and preventative maintenance practices Use safety equipment such as fire extinguisher and spill kit, as necessary Engage in proper loading, unloading and flushing procedures Deliver the product in a courteous, professional manner Help maintain a clean and safe facility, especially their truck

Qualifications/Skills:

Proven experience hauling fuel (fuel driver) Excellent organizational skills and diligence Strong people skills Open-mindedness in receiving instructions and willingness to learn Work independently

Educational/Experience Requirements:

High School diploma or GED Clean driving record

Transport:

Class A CDL with tanker endorsement, air brakes, and hazmat

Bobtail:

Class B CDL with tanker endorsement, air brakes, and hazmat

Bulk Oil:

Class B CDL with tanker endorsement and air brakes

Package Goods:

Class B CDL with air brakes TWIC Card preferred

$21.00 - $24.00 per hour Expected hours: 45.0 - 55.0 per week
