Let's be upfront about the job: this is a hands-on, physical job where a significant part of your day will be pumping out, cleaning, servicing, and maintaining portable toilets. If you take pride in doing dirty work properly, keeping equipment in good condition, and leaving a job looking better than you found it, this could be a great fit. You will have a dedicated service route and will be responsible for servicing a group of portable toilets on a regular schedule. Much of your day will be spent working independently in the field, so we are looking for someone we can trust to do the job correctly without constant supervision. What You'll Do Drive a company service truck on an assigned portable toilet service route Pump and empty portable toilets using the truck's vacuum system Thoroughly clean and service portable toilets Refill supplies and chemicals as needed Inspect units for damage, cleanliness, and general condition Perform minor repairs and maintenance on portable toilets in the field Identify units that need additional repair or replacement and communicate those needs Keep accurate service records and complete required paperwork/tablet entries Load, unload, deliver, and pick up portable toilets and other equipment when needed Maintain the cleanliness and general condition of your assigned service truck Perform basic daily truck checks and identify maintenance issues before they become problems Help maintain the portable toilet yard and equipment Assist in the shop or other BCS departments when needed Provide professional and courteous service when interacting with customers Follow BCS safety procedures and maintain a clean, professional appearance Take ownership of your route, equipment, and daily responsibilities This Job Requires A valid driver's license and a good driving record Ability to lift and move up to 60 lbs. Ability to perform physically demanding work throughout the day Ability to work independently without constant supervision Strong attention to detail Basic mechanical ability and willingness to learn Ability to operate a service truck and related equipment safely Dependability and punctuality A professional attitude and willingness to help wherever needed This position requires a high level of trust . You will regularly be working alone, operating a company truck, using company equipment, visiting customer properties, completing service records, and representing Billings Construction Supply without direct supervision. We need someone with strong personal integrity who does the right thing when nobody is watching. We are looking for someone who takes ownership of their work, tells the truth, takes care of company property, and can be trusted to complete their route properly without being micromanaged. Experience with commercial driving, septic pumping, plumbing, construction, landscaping, equipment operation, mechanical work, sanitation, or other physically demanding outdoor work is a plus. This is a year-round position with a stable, growing, locally owned company. Job duties and responsibilities may change based on the needs of the business.
