Job Description
Jackson Group Peterbilt is seeking a reliable and customer focused Driver to accurately deliver parts, while providing professional service at every stop. This role involves preparing and verifying orders, safely transporting materials, and supporting warehouse operations as needed. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and able to work both independently and as part of a team. Qualifications Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Ability to pass pre-employment and random drug screenings Strong customer service and communication skills Professional demeanor and appearance Strong attention to detail and accuracy Good organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and adapt in a fast-paced environment Reliable attendance and strong work ethic Ability to safely lift, load, and move up to 65 pounds Responsibilities Deliver parts to customers accurately, safely, and on schedule using assigned routes Load, secure, and unload parts Pull, stage, and verify orders prior to delivery Pick up cores, returns, and customer items as required Maintain delivery documentation, obtain signatures, and ensure proper recordkeeping Provide professional, courteous service and represent the company positively Communicate effectively with customers, dispatch, and internal team members Assist with warehouse operations including receiving, stocking, and organizing inventory Operate equipment (e.g., forklift) as needed and follow all safety procedures Maintain company assigned vehicle (cleanliness, fueling, basic upkeep) Follow all traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations Benefits PTO accrual begins immediately 401K match Dental & Medical benefits available Equal Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
