As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for transporting freight efficiently while ensuring compliance with FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration), DOT (Department of Transportation),. Your expertise in truck driving, load securement, and cargo handling will drive our success and customer satisfaction. Duties Safely operate Class A tractor-trailer trucks with flatbed configurations, including Moffitt lift systems, across designated routes while adhering to all federal and state transportation laws. Load and unload freight , forklifts, or other equipment, ensuring cargo is secured properly for transit. Navigate efficiently using GPS navigation systems to meet delivery schedules and optimize routes across Helena area driving routes. Transport building materials and home improvement merchandise to residential and new builds Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the tractor-trailer, checking for mechanical issues, load security, and compliance with DOT regulations. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, cargo manifests, delivery receipts, and inspection reports in accordance with FMCSA regulations. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate deliveries, provide updates on delivery status, and resolve any issues promptly. Skills Proven experience with commercial truck driving, particularly with flatbed trailers and forklift( moffit) Strong knowledge of

FMCSA, DOT

regulations, merchandise handling, and safety protocols related to truck driving and cargo transport. Skilled in route planning using GPS navigation tools to optimize efficiency on local routes. Ability to load and unload freight manually or with equipment such as forklifts maintaining safety standards. Familiarity with logistics cargo handling procedures for freight including freight securing techniques on flatbeds. Experience in trailers or transporting Excellent driving record with a focus on safety compliance in accordance with DOT regulations.
