Job Description

Job Summary OTW Towing is looking for a dependable, safety-minded, and professional Tow Truck Operator to join our growing team. The Tow Truck Operator will be responsible for safely responding to towing and roadside service calls, loading and transporting vehicles, and providing professional customer service. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, communicates well with dispatch and customers, and understands the responsibility that comes with operating towing equipment and handling customers' vehicles. Towing experience is preferred, but we are willing to consider and train the right candidate who has a strong work ethic, good driving history, and willingness to learn. Duties Respond to towing and roadside service calls in a timely manner Safely operate company tow trucks and towing equipment Load, secure, transport, and unload vehicles safely Perform basic roadside assistance when needed, including jump starts, tire changes, lockouts, and fuel deliveries Communicate with dispatch regarding call status, location, and completion Provide courteous and professional customer service Perform basic pre-trip and post-trip inspections of assigned equipment Keep assigned truck and equipment clean and organized Complete required documentation for service calls Follow company procedures and all applicable safety requirements Report equipment issues, vehicle damage, or other concerns promptly Qualifications Valid driver's license Acceptable driving record Previous towing experience preferred Experience operating a rollback/flatbed or other towing equipment is a plus Must be dependable and punctual Safety-minded and able to follow procedures Comfortable working independently Good communication and customer service skills Able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Able to perform the physical duties associated with towing and roadside assistance Must be able to safely handle chains, straps, dollies, winches, and other towing equipment Willing to learn and take direction What We're Looking For We're especially interested in someone who is: Dependable Hardworking Safety-Minded Professional Ready to Work Experience is a plus, but reliability, attitude, safety, and willingness to learn are extremely important to us. $500.00 - $1,200.00 per week
